Commissions

If you cannot find the image or images you are looking for on the site, then I would be pleased to carry out a commission to meet your wishes. Commissions can range from wall art in thre form of canvas art or framed art for interior design projects, whether contemporary, abstract or graphic in treatment.

For commissioned work, the copyright in the image(s) would pass to you, and I, as the photographer, would have no rights to reproduce or sell further copies without your permission.

Prices for 1 to 4 commissioned prints are therefore 10% higher than prices listed on this site. For 5 to 9 prints, the additional charge is 5%, while for 10 to 14, the price per print is exactly as for normal prints on this site. 15 or more prints will attract a discount (please discuss print numbers and discounts prior to commissioning). Payment methods can be discussed as part of the commissioning process. All arrangements will be documented and e-mail confirmation provided to the customer. The customer would also be asked to confirm the commission and agreement to the terms, either in writing or via e-mail before work proceeds.

Should you not be satisfied with any aspect of the work in progress, or the resulting images, then your rights under the Distance Selling regulations apply (see Buying Prints' page for details).

With commissions of multiple subject matter, progress on the commission can be given in the form of e-mails of images for consideration. You may also choose the final images from a selection of images. For example, choose your preferred image(s) of the same scene from different viewpoints or in varying weather conditions, or even overall print tone. Any scene would be photographed in a number of ways in order to provide the customer with a choice.

• Images of holiday sites
• Images of well known locations
• Images of the same location in different seasons
• Images of religious, cultural or historical sites
• Images of obscure or little known sites or views
• Images of commercial premises
• Images of where you were brought up, lived or married
